We're often asked, "What's the difference between Italian and French bread?"
From a physical standpoint, Italian has an open crumb (airy), a crispier crust and a slightly drier texture.
French on the other hand is, less airy, has a softer crust and is more moist.
The main difference is, French has shortening (palm oil) and sugar but Italian has neither of these ingredients.
Italian is our signature bread. We sell more Italian than all of our other breads combined.
